My primary bussiness is quality installation of decoders and other associated lights and electronics. To this end I will install only new componets into unmodified locomotives or cars. Also DCC is not a fix it is an upgrade to an already good running locomotive, while a decoder can be installed in virtually any locomotive if that locomotive does not run well on DC it will not run any better with a decoder installed and in most cases it will run worse.

Please understand that at this time I do not offer repairs. If you have a decoder that was installed by someone else I can not make that installation good but if you would like for an additional charge I can remove a bad install and install new decoder, if the unit had been too badly damaged by a bad install the unit will be returned to you as is and you will be asked to pay for shipping.

The following prices are labor and include wire, resistors, and programming. Insured return shipping will be quoted at actual cost. Any other materials need to complete the install are additional and are detailed in the list below.
